In a bizarre collaboration that challenges conventional forecasts, Ubisoft has announced an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Adventure Revealed

According to the authorized announcement, "A mysterious meeting pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where rumors of prohibited practices and monstrous transformations echo through the darkness." The plot introduces a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a hidden cult.

The adventure concentrates on "peculiar trials and a monstrous foe" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Places and Metamorphoses

The trailer features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser ends with a dramatic scene showing a character, probably the hostage, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Rewards and Additional Content

Players who accomplish the adventure will obtain an unique katana together with several artifacts secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
